Looking for ways to get involved?
We are always excited to interact with industry and alumni passionate about supporting MESA and underrepresented students in Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics.
What is the Industry Advisory Board?
The Local Industry Advisory Board consists of dedicated industry representatives from around Sonoma County—some of them Santa Rosa Junior college alums—who serve in an advisory role in program planning and decision making. We seek the board's input on designing our program as well as for assistance in strengthening our partnerships with industry.
What is the Time Commitment for Industry Advisory Board Membership?
By attending 2 meetings a year and supporting a partnership activity, the expertise of Local Industry Advisory Board mentors is critical to the success of MESA and advancing the professional development of SRJC students enrolled in the program. A feature of our successful MESA Program at SRJC is the strong connection with local industry
How Can You Get Involved?
If you have vision, commitment, and a desire to partner with Santa Rosa Junior College MESA Program — please consider serving on the Local Industry Advisory Board.
Alumni Branch of the Local Industry Advisory Board
Alumni representatives act as a point of contact for current SRJC MESA students. Utilizing phone conversations, Skype/FaceTime, and email, Alumni Members of the LIAB agree to share their recent educational and career experiences via information interviewing with JC STEM students.
We welcome your interest and would be happy to answer any questions you might have about board participation. Please contact Darci Rosales, Program Manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org or (707) 524-1859.
