MESA College Field Trips

Deciding on a transfer institution is an important decision for every student enrolled in MESA.  MESA offers students a great way to get more information; MESA students have the opportunity to visit multiple college campuses throughout the year.

Groups generally spend between 4-5 hours a day on the campus. They tour campus with an undergraduate peer mentor, eat lunch in a dining hall, visit a cultural center, stop by the athletic facilities, and have a customized presentation and hands-on activity presented by a faculty member from different science, technology, engineering and mathematics programs.

This is meant to enhance school curriculum as well as expose students to potential majors or careers. Students learn about life as a college student at a 4-year university and the benefits of continuing their education.
