(MESA Foundation is the minimum required to stay within the program. Failure to meet Foundation may result in being dropped from the MESA program.)
Demonstrate a STEM community-building practice by logging in at least 8 hours in MESA center. 4 Hours may be completed at Santa Rosa or Petaluma Tutorial Center or STEM Success Center.
Must be enrolled in at least 6 units per semester orone STEM course per semester.
Must meet with an SRJC Counselor once per semester and maintain a current long-term Ed Plan.
Complete a MESA feedback survey once per semester.
Must meet with assigned Student Success Specialist once per semester.
HONORS
(MESA Honors standing entitles a student to a $100 per semester, MESA program stipends, and project-specific stipend)
Items 1-5 detailed in the Foundation Level.
Maintain MESA Satisfactory Course Completion Progress: a semester GPA of 2.0 or above and 67% course completion (transcript registered courses.)
Complete one MESA enrichment activity each semester. This enrichment activity should be an Academic Success Activityor a Leadership/Professional Development Activity.
HIGH HONORS
(MESA High Honors entitles a student to a MESA program stipend of $300 per semester. Additionally, a MESA High Honors student qualifies to apply for MESA restricted SRJC Foundation Scholarships.)
Complete all items detailed at the MESA Honors level.
Must complete at least one Academic Success Activity per semester.
Must complete at least one Leadership/Professional Development Activity per semester
Must complete at least one Career Insight Activity per semester.
Must complete at least one Transfer Traction Activity per semester.
Must complete at least one Community Engagement Activity per semester.
